LIFE 2010

Well, LIFE 2010 was absolutely amazing!! We had some inspirational speakers. Francis Chan, Derwin Grey, James Grout, Jason Ostrander, Missionaries and many more. The Logan Martin band was fantastic as well. I learned so much this week about what God is doing right here in Minnesota, and what He's doing around the world. There is just too much to say. God is the creator of everything we have ever known, and everything we have yet to know. He is amazing. His love is never ending. Thank you God for giving 6,500 teenagers the opportunity to go to LIFE. You have been working in our lives this past week, and that was just the begining. LIFE 2010 didn't end on Satruday. LIFE 2010 has just begun :)

Bye Bye For Now!

Hello everybody!! This next week i'm going to be going to the LIFE conference in Louisville, Kentucky. I'm really looking forward to spending some quality time with my Youth Group and meeting some new people. I know that Christ will be working in many lives this week, and I will be changed when I come back. I'm hoping I will become closer to the Lord adn know more about Him. I know i'm still young and I have a lot to learn, and i'm looking forward to filling my head with knowledge. I really hope the hotel we're staying at is nice and clean!! There's nothing worse than a dirty, dard crappy hotel. I'm making sure to bring Clorox wipes so I can clean up. Haha. I love traveling, and traveling with Youth Group will be amazing! I'm not sure what to expect. Hehe, I know things will be awesome! LIFE is going to be an experience I won't ever forget. I hope I will have a better relationship with Christ when I come back. I'll talk to you later guys!! Bye :)

Our Independance

Hey all!! Happy 4th of July. Isn't it great to know we have our freedom thanks to the hundreds of thousands of women and men that have fought for our country? I sure think it is. Thank you so much to all of you that have helped make our country what it is today. Can you even imagine what we would be like if we were still owned by the British? Life would be soo different. I'm not saying the British are bad, they are one of our strongest allies. But it's better if we can be our own nation and they can be their own. It's a natural human desire to want to be free to make your own decisions and have your own life. No one can really control that. Well, I hope you guys have a wonderful day. I know I will. God has done amazing things in this country and around the world. Lets remember to thank Him for his grace and mercy on us.

Blue Legacy and H2O for Life

Today was one of the most interesting days i've had in a very long time. Some members of the H2O committee went to Target Field and met Alexandra Cousteau and her Blue Legacy water crew. We talked with her about some of the amazing things she and her team are doing, and H2O got some interviews with her. It was a surreal experience. Going out on the actual field and feeling the grass between your toes is something not everyone gets to do. The suite we were in was amazing. It was so nice and open, and it was right above the field. We had to leave pretty quickly to go to Dow Chemicals, but I was so thankful that i got that opportunity, and that H2O was helped. I love the H2O orginazition, and anything I can do to help I will absolutely do. Alexandra has done so many wonderful things for our world, and she's shown that women have a huge impact on our world. Men, its time to move over. We can both be in the spotlight, and we can live in complete harmony. Men and women are equal, they can each do amazing things. One thing that Alexandra said that really hit me was how people told her she couldn't do so many things, and she said screw it. She ended up doing what people thought was impossible. There really is no such thing as impossible. If you set your mind to something, nothing can stop you. No matter what anyone says you can change the world. Alexandra is living proof of that. If you take anything from reading this, know this: YOU can make a difference. YOU CAN!
